There is paper so sheer it cannot hold a whisper, though it bears a bamboo curve and the weight of brushstrokes. When the candles are lit the lanterns' glow floats upon the summer air like a song of golden light.
I am a displaced mermaid, washed far ashore in the Dallas 'burbs. Besides the sea, I am enchanted with... art, writing, islands, glitter... and my family, of course.
